Export

Consequent upon change in the policy of Govt. o f India, FCI has stopped allocation of Wheat and Rice for export purposes. Hoeever, NCCF is in the process of export of Iron Ore to China and foodgrains to Bangladesh and Nepal and import of dry fruits from Gulf Region under OGL.

However, NCCF has been engaged in export of Onion as it has been nominated by the Government of India as one of the canalizing agency for export of Onion. NCCF has exported following quantity of Onion during last years

COAL

Ministry of Coal in Dec. 04 has allotted 2 Million tons of coal  for onward distribution to small and tiny Consumers in the small scale industries sector located in the States of West Bengal, U.P., Orissa, Chattisgrah,Maharashtra, M.P., A.P. Jharkhand, Bihar, Punjab and Haryana. Though the allocation was made on per annum basis, but the actual lifting is much less

 

Processing Units

The NCCF has one processing unit at Bhiwani with an annual capacity of 6000 MTs. for processing Toor Dal and Gram Dal respectively. The stocks required for processing at these mills are procured from the regulated mandis.

The Printing Press Unit  at Noida (UP) has since become operational. All the requirements of Office stationery of the branches and HO are being got printed in the said unit.  T
